This kind-of-a-big-deal boot also utilizes a pre-treated leather upper that can be reapplied with waterproofing wax/spray to help extend its water repellency. Lems Shoes recommends using Otter Wax Boot Wax with their shoes.

The leather in brown shoes often comes with light markings on it. Just take a lightly damp cloth and rub them in a circular motion. That should removes them.
