Courtney Frerichs is professional runner, a two-time Olympian and the Tokyo Olympics silver medalist in the 3000 meters steeplechase event. She is the American record holder as the fastest woman in the event.
She created this Solid Gold Fly Acrostic Ring, using the first letter of stone names to spell the hidden word: F-L-Y. For Courtney, the concept of "Fly" comes from a quote by Erin Hanson: “There is freedom waiting for you, On the breezes of the sky, And you ask 'What if I fall?' Oh but my darling, What if you fly?”
